ABS Light

ABS light is on, anyone know what the most common problem is, or where I should start.

Thanks

From: Back where I started...
Going to need to have codes pulled before you can do much else. Could be anything from a relay not powering up the system to a speed sensor or even an HCU (pump and valve assembly roughly) or an ECU (module). But you can't look at anything until you know what code you have. For some reason I'm thinking Autozone CAN'T pull abs codes (anyone out there know for sure? correct me if I'm wrong), so you'll either have to find a scanner you can borrow, buy one (make sure it will work!) or stop at a shop and just have them pull codes if you're confident you can diag it once you know where to start.

Requires a special scanner to pull the codes.....most likely the culprit is the rear speed sensor located at the top of the diff.

I found my problem without pulling the codes, found the wires had come loose off the main module next to the steering column.
