I was just sitting here thinking as usual and this idea popped up in my head of what I think one of the most appealing things to me is of owning an OBS truck. VENT WINDOWS! I love them and my kids love them. They are a lost item and gone by todays standards. I have fond memories of the vent windows on many of the old cars and trucks of my youth.
I like the way ya think, vent windows ............ When ever I am talking about all the finer points of my truck I mention the vent windows and then who ever is listening just kinda does a double look think thing like I am some sorta wierdo,,,,,,,,,,, They don't get Vent windows are cool and a thing of the past I am glad I got mine.........
Love my vent windows! And my Bronco has them too! The OBS body style is so much better looking and more appropriate to a real working truck than the newer body.
You are preaching to the choir here!
I hardly ever use the vents now, but my old '88 had no air and I ran windows down all the time.
I rarely run windows down now because the A/C in these things could freeze salt water.
