I recently installed a DANA 61 rearend from an '81 F350 into my '65 F250. I am missing one chrome lug nut from each side and would like to find a replacement that matches. They are 9/16 thread about 2 1/2" - 3" long. One nut is left hand threads the other right hand threads.
Anyone know where I can get these?
Try going to a tire shop. Not a parts store that also sells tires, but a dedicated tire store. They should have spare lug nuts lying around or they could probably find a source for new ones.
PROSTOCK...... do you happen to know what the differences are (if any ) between the 61 and the 70? if not i guess i could go to the dana website--they have exploded views of all their models that can be downloaded.

Specifically, no. I'm sure that the 70 has a higher load rating than the 61, allthough, I think the 61 is plenty stout already!
