[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-May-02 AT 06:11 PM (EST)]Hey people, I'm thinking about buying a used 2001 F250 V10 crewcab, shortbed for a business I am starting in CO.. I need some info on what kind of mileage I can expect towing about 2K on a trailer. Also the dealer wants 27500 for the truck. It has 17K miles and is a Lariat trim level. Of course there will be some haggling going on, but how much should I push. Any help appreciated.

Depends on the rear-end gears, transmission, terrain, elevation and how heavy your foot is.
I'd bank on 11-12 overall.

Do a edmunds.com search but also (many have heard me say this...) ask your insurance company for value. They have the latest, greatest, most accurate for the territory, value you can get really...
