Question about #7 missfire
One of the guys I work with has a SuperCrew that I plugged in and got these two codes.
#7 missfire
left bank lean
It seams to miss when you accelerate. I have had my diesel for 4 years, and don't remember if the Triton engines are numbered
1 - 2
3 - 4
5 - 6
7 - 8
or
1 - 5
2 - 5
3 - 7
4 - 8
I'm guessing it is a bad plug. He has 86,000 miles on it.

7 mis-fire
I recently had code say number 7 was mis-firing, mechanic changed plugs, after heating up, code still said number 7 mis-fire, according to him now head gasket is leaking causing number 7 to mis-fire. He wants 900 to replace gasket.
