Advanced Flow Engineering Exhaust

Anyone running this 4" system? Looks like a good set up, but I was wondering about the first 8" of the down pipe being 3.5" vs. 4" inches. Here is the sales pitch they have:

Complete Turbo Back Exhaust System for 1999 through 2003 Ford Powerstroke Equipped Trucks by ADVANCED FLOW ENGINEERING. This kit is manufactured out of 4" 14 gauge aluminized steel(remember your factory exhaust is 16 Gauge-Thicker means longer lasting. The downpipe is a 3-1/2(first 8" of downpipe) into 4" design to allow the turbo to spool up quickly at low rpms. All tubing bends are high quality mandrel bends. Complete set of new hangers that make installation a breeze. And a full flow through muffler for that Big Rig sound. The result.... An exhaust that makes 18HP, 30 ft lbs of torque and not to mention lowers your Exhaust Gas Temperatures by up to 250 degrees allowing you to pull harder longer. Plus, on the back side you will gain 1-2 MPG gain in Fuel Mileage. A must in todays rising fuel costs. Not to mention this exhaust relieves backpressure which allows the turbo to spool up faster at lower RPM's giving you that extra grunt.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
