I am trying to help a buddy at work so bear with me...he has a 2000 ranger with a 3.0 v6 , a very well maintained 215,000 trouble free miles. he has been chasing an idle problem. when the truck is cranked cold or hot it idles very rough and sometimes dies and the check engine lite comes on sometimes..but it goes out on its on shortly after..above idle he says it runs great ..he has replaced the iac, egr,plugs wires ,fuel filter,air filter,cleaned the maf and the TB, he ran some sea foam through it too...still the rough idle , he says it does run better and his milage came up a little too...he likes the truck but doesn't want to dump a bunch of money in it b/c of the high miles ....help me out ranger gurus thanks
