I don't not think that the 6.4 is compliant to the 2010 regulations. I believe that Ford is working on there own in house diesel to be compliant to the 2010 regs though ( I think, but don't quote me on it though. Ford might have something else up there sleeves). I think the only diesel right now that is compliant is the new Dodge Cummins engine.

As far as I know the above statement is correct. the 6.4 is not ready for the 2010 regulations. By then theyll have to put even more emissions crap on them and make them even less fun. Sucks in my honest opinion. Im gonna go ahead and jump on a 6.4 soon.
As far as I know you're right. The only engine to reach 2010 regulations is the Dodge becase a NOX absorber will the required in the new laws. No way the 6.4 will reach those regs, it barely meets the 2007 ones. They had to bore out a 6.0, but 2 turbos on it, and have intercooled pipes sucking in fresh air to meet these now.
No the 6.4L is not 2010 compliant. Last word is IH plans on using a urea system to make the 6.4L 2010 compliant. But that is IH and not Ford. As for Ford, I do not think they are worried if the 6.4L is 2010 compliant or not. Like mentioned above, they have other plans.
