Roller rockers

I've been toying with the idea of putting 1.7 roller rockers in my '94 5.0 engine (truck). I've noticed however that where the rockers contact the valve tip there is a little wheel. It was my understanding that the rocker tip was responsible for rotating the valve, and my concern with the roller rockers is that they won't rotate the valves like they should be rotated, causing premature wear on the valves and guides. Is this a real concern, or will the valves rotate just fine regardless?

Dont worry about it. nobody else does. I think the springs take care of valve rotation.

The roller tip reduces tip and guide wear. I've had a set on a 5.0 for 5 years now. These were used 1.7 Cobra rockers when I bought em. Zero problems. The heads they're on are some I ported myself back then and were junkyard 351W E7TE heads. After the port work, I had a valve job done on them. Still going strong.
