Cooling issues
Hello all;
I am having some heating issues with my 97 250, given past experience with the plastic / o-ring radiators in newer vehicles, I am looking into replacement rather than rodding out a 10 year old radiator. The truck has had a corrosion issue before I purchased it. I am currently trying to remove this from the block and heads with cleaners . It doesn't currently leak but I am not sure if I can reincarnate the radiator.
What are your thoughts on replacement radiators? Brands, materials, features?
I tow a heavy fifth wheel in California (110+ in summer) so efficent cooling is critical.

Whatever brand you get, get a 4 core radiator. I haven't had one problem since going to a 4 core from my original 3 core radiator. I tow either my boat or quad (4 or 5 quads) trialer with a 13'10" camper which weighs 3300 pounds empty over mountain passes as high as 7000 feet.
