I've been doing some searching on the forum and was hoping y'all could clarify something for me....
Is it true that with a 2in leveling kit on a 4x2 F-150 it will sit as high as a 4wd (w/ leveling kit also) of the same cab configuration? I always thought that since the 2wd's sit lower than 4wd stock, that even with a 2-2.5in leveling kit they still wouldn't sit as high as the 4wd with the same kit.
The 4X4's have shocks that are 2" longer than those of the 4X2. So, if both have the same leveling kit, the 4X4 will still be 2" taller. The rear ... same 2". If you want to make a 4X2 the same height as a 4X4, you have to get the longer shocks and add the 2" blocks in the rear.
I'd have to believe that it'd make a huge difference though on a 2wd if you put a leveling kit on though? I don't know that I've seen that set up though
