engine chuggs
I have a 2001, 4.2 ltr. Last week I filled up and two days later my engine, when given gas has started to chug, it idles fine and as long as you are cruising at a c ertain speed its fine. I burned half of that tank and refilled with 93 octane, plus put water displacement in my tank thinking i may have bad gas. I have also changed out both O2 sensers, thinking they may be my problem. Any suggestions before I take it to the shop.

Probably bad packs, wires and plugs.
I have first hand experience with bad chuggs. Ive replaced two coil packs on the drivers side, and one on the left. All plugs changed and wires. All went away. A while later shuddering came back engine code read cyl#4 misfire. Bought new wires from Ford and they gave me a wire 2" shoter than original. still drives like crap. Suggestion check all plugs wires and caps.
