I like the old style 72, but the 68 is a prettier grill. It also has the FORD emblem in the center of the grill.
If it's for a 4x4 I would go the 79 with blackened bezels, other wise the 72.

if anyone's interested i have my truck in my gallery with the 73 all crome, its a liittle beat up but i like it anyway, i have replaced the driver side and am gettin ready to replace the other side. ill post pictures in the near future.

I thought '78 had round lights and '79 had square lights- please enlighten me!
I like the '79 with square lights but my fave is the '77 - since that was my first Ford PU.
My fave body style is the 73-79.

I prefer to stick with the 73 only reason is because i dont like when people say its a 73 but the grille is a 78 sorry its weird but i cannot stand it for some reason

all other 78's then 79's have RECTANGULARlights not square.
No square headlights I know of
