Driveshaft Squeek?
This has gotta sound dumb, but I am serious! My 91 Explorer has a little squeek to it. I put it on stands in Neutral to rotate the rear wheels. The squeeking sound is coming from the driveshaft, but not from either end. I was under the truck (NO BULL) and it sounds like it is coming from inside the shaft!
Is that possible? Is it "internally" balanced?

If it sounds like it's coming from the shaft, remove the drive shaft, and check both universal joints. That sound will really travle.
