The letter "R"
I'm missing the letter "R" on my 63 above my grille. So, it looks like I've got a FOD instead of a FORD. I checked LMC and the letters are like 69 bucks! Surely someone has got one laying around somehwere... Also, I need some of those little clips. Searching the forum someone said to use barrel clips from Lowes. Is that right? That would be convenient if that would work.

You can find stuff like this on ebay sometimes. Would 65-66 letters work?

I had looked on ebay but I hadn't seen those. They look slightly different because my lettering has raised edges, and they look flat. But, I would like to know if they would work.

letters are 65-6 and 62-4 the earlier letters are smaller then 65-6 type...I checked the parts locater for them to no avail..they are the same on all f100-600 thru 64 and in 64 they were also used on F series up to and including F750

I don't know. The F O and D are kind of faded so a new shiny one might look out of place. I wish I could find my old "R". I misplaced it somewhere while it was off, and maybe it got thrown away. Or maybe it will turn up. I cleaned out my building over the weekend hoping to find it and no luck. I thought for sure it was in there somewhere.

Are you still looking for the "F O R D" letters? I've got all four was thinking of putting on ebay. All are nice and shiny could use a little polishing but are in excellent shape. PM me and see what we can work out.
