After driving 35 miles last night with no probs, my truck sat for 2-3 hours in low 50 high 40 degree weather. Tank was filled up, and recommended amount of DK (gray bottle) added prior to drive. I turned the key and the wait to start light never came on. I cycled the key on/off a few times and still no light, so it made me wonder. Tried cranking it over, cranks just fine but won't fire. Tried cycling a few more time to no avail so, I had it towed early this morning to my local Ford Dealer. Since it's Sunday, the trucks just sitting. Wondering if anyone had this problem before? If so, what was the culprit? Hopefully someone chimes in here quick. Crossing my fingers that it's an easy fix that I can do before Monday morning.
With no WTS lamp, my bet is on the fuel heater shorted out also. Unplug fuel heater at the bowl, replace 30 amp fuse (do not plug in fuel heater) and if it starts, replace fuel heater.
