swapping the motor

How much easier is it to swapp the motor with the body off the bronco?

The body is off rightnow but it will be 3-4 more weeks before i get the motor fineshed, and i want to go ahead and put the body back on so i can worh on the inside. I will still leave the fenders and hood and stuff off, But i dont want to be sorry i put the body back on when I have to pull the 351 and set in the 460.

so what yall think?

I think it would be a good time to put the body on. Then you can be sure that every thing fits around the eng. Easer, like the heater/evaporator box. It will just make it a litter harder to get to the bell housing bolts

I set my 429 in with the complete body intact except for the hood of course. The body shouldnt be in the way and you will have a much easier time without the front end. The larger engine is a blast and gets better mileage than the original 351 or 400, let alone much more power.
