Oil Change
OK just changed my oil went with Mobil 1 (that is what is recomenbed in my vett so I guess it must be good stuff)5w-30w I started thinking about the motor and thought that this thing has OHC which meane a lot of moving parts up high. I want an oil to get there ASAP as to minimize damage. in and OHV the cam is in the block and should get oil quicker so maybe this is why ford went to the lighter oil??
P.S. Since when does hand tight mean that I need to beat a screw driver through the filter to get it loose? Dam kids at the quick change places

Oil Change
Same way from the factory too. EIther use a filter wrench or the long screwdriver method.
Interestingly my Ford contact did not say anything about reduced warranty like I speculated. But he has been an engineer and program manager on Ford engines and I trust his info.
