i now understand the term ricer exaust sound
I put true duals on my 87 300-6. Came off the spit manifolds with i think 2 inch ran a short ways and put on two short glass packs and then connected into my 2.25 pipes over the axle and out under the bumper. I love the sound except for the area around 2500 rpms. The RICER stage. Its not as bad as some on here make it out to be. It sounds wicked down low, a deep growl. And the important part i picked up a little power from this. Now I have a hunch that an x-pipe or h pipe would proably mellow it out enough to be about perfect. So what is preferred, an x or h? And should it go before or after the glass packs??
