Bumper question. Years interchangable
I have a 1977 and have found a 79 bumper that I'd like to slap on the rig. Is this a 1 banana job or does it require drilling new holes?

how about the rear step and tow bumpers? i have a highboy with a bent rear step n tow, and i can get a good one cheap but its from an 80s truck, will this work?

sorry, looking for a front bumper... this thing doesn't have a rear bumper

No, the profile contour is different on '78-79 front.

AFAIR, The Pre 77 1/2 narrow frame F250's require a different bumper as far as mounting goes.

In 78 there was a slight style change.

The difference can be seen on a few parts store online sites.
