I agree on a local GTG. I tried posting about one but no one replied
I tried posting one for the Mid. Tn. gtg awhile back had a few bits, but that went away quickly. I think y'all have a bigger pool of people to pick from then up here. I think with how much it costs quite a bit of people to drive anywhere nowadays that gtg are going to suffer a bit. Back to the topic though, I would like to see pics of the new paint job, I was thinking coming spring I would see about getting a custom paint job on my truck.
Its been too hot lately to get anyone out for a GTG. I hope we can get one going after Labor day weekend. I'd like to show off my new truck & I know I want to see this fresh painted 77. Its a great old truck. We don't have to do anything expencive for a gtg. That way the fuel cost will not stop people from coming.

Well no, not for all y'all round memphis, but that's 3 1/2 hrs way from me(which it seems like the majority of the members here are from memphis or the area), no way I can do that in a day, which is what I would have to do with trying to balance a gtg with having to deal with a barn full of boarders.
I've been to GTGs all over Tn with another Ford truck club. They have the most members on the east side of the state. I plan to make their next meet in October. All FTE members are welcome to come to it. Its going to be at the Lost Sea. I agree fuel cost have cut back on my travels but I still try to get out as much as I can. The date hasn't been set yet but its gonna be the first or second weekend. Here is the website for the Lost Sea.
You should go to this GTG bf250. Its just a bunch of Ford truck owners having a good time. Many are members of this site too. I'll post the date when its decided on. I am planning to go.I want to show my east Tn buddies my truck.
Back on subject. Did the truck get finished? I want to see it. It was a great project truck when I saw it last. rbeoding has put lots of time into it restoring it. It was a family project from what I remember about it. I think it was his grandfathers truck. Its one of my favorite body styles . Its gonna look great with new paint & interior. Let me know when you get it home. I'll drive by & check it out
post a date, i would like to go, but hopefully i don't go to crazy from seeing some fords out there while i don't have one, i am already driving my wife crazy hovering around the car lots all the time looking at the ford trucks for sale.
bf250 get you a truck. I can't really afford mine but I couldn't turn it down for the price I paid. I only have 6 more house notes then I'll have no problems paying the truck note. I plan to pay it off in 2 yrs.
Well, I have been out of town since I picked it up. And when I have been in town it is dark by the time I get home. On Monday I replaced the interior with the parts under the bed in the house - boy my wife really got happy when that happened - she kept bringing parts out and saying do you need this yet. Long and short - I don't have any pictures of it yet but it is real RED and aside from fome minor problems I am very happy. I will try to get home early tommorow and get some pictures.
