Door Weather Strips

hello, am restoring a 76 ford f100 and painted so i ordered all the weather strips for the pick up from LMC. the guy who painted it installed the door weather strips but the door does not close properly. it closes but not all the way. what do you all recommend

R U sure it's the weather strips? Maybe your hinges are sagging, or maybe the door needs to be tightened to the pillar. Just some thoughts.

Sometimes it takes a little while for the new rubber to compress and actually allow the door to close properly - also get a new set of pins from the help section at AZ or other with the plastic cover - makes alot of difference.

All weatherstripping will be puffy at installation but from what hear the stuff LMC sells is the worst.
Only after years of having the doors closed and climatic conditions prevail, the W/S will be closer to normal.
