PS I think that my 08 f350 has the nicest ride and handles betther than any ford or dodge that i have owned before and thats a few! Sorry to hear about the f450. I will try and drive one sometime<A few customers of have them and no compaints from them!
I actually swapped out my stock headunit with a PANASONIC CQ-VD7003U 7" touchscreen and ended up hooking up a rear view camera to it inbetween my hitch and bumper. There is a little 2/3 inch gap there that was a perfect spot to mount it. It looks like it came stock like that on the truck, i get compliments on it all the time.
Here are some pictures of where i mounted the camera and what it looks like on my headunit. The camera is a Audiovox rear observation color camera and i love it... awesome quality.
i got the camera from circuit city, i think it was about a $100. The installation was pretty simple, took about 2 hours or so. The hardest part is hiding all the wires and making it look professional... other then that its a walk in the park.
