You may want to save your money on a tuner and save it for gas. The V-10 is not great on gas mileage but has a ton of power when you need it. And welcome to FTE
Them 99s must be dirt cheap... I think we have over 25 questions in the last couple of months on this truck/motor...
MY personal advice...now that you guys n galls have found the mighty v10...shine er up real good sell for a slight profit and invest in a used 2005 or up 3v V10 version at the relativly cheap prices and do not worry about needing a tuner of any other mods... with gas prices what they are the re sale on a truck like mine is real low and they are all over the place in the south west..
I am out in wdc right now and saw two Lariat 3v V10 CC LB F350s from 2006 on the lot for under 22K$$$$

its rather rare for a V10 around here, just my dads a friend of my parents and a few from time to time 80% are diesels or 5.4
