the dr 3.5" hanger kit..does that work with a lifted truck or does it have to be stock, to level it..i have a procomp 6.5" lift..will it lift it up anymore?
IMHO it is not a good idea to mix and match 2 lift kits. These kits are designed with a specific geometry, and if you put both kits together you might exceed the tolerances set forth and stress a related part.
I think I would call Pro-Comp and talk to one of their suspension gurus.
If anything, you might be able to use an add-a-leaf.
I have seen a couple of trucks with the hanger kits and it actually bows the rear of the spring down behind the front axle.
Kenny i had a 4.5" donahoe spring hanger kit with my leveling kit and it put me at 7". You could get a 3.5" spring hanger kit, however then you'd need new drop swaybar links, new pitman arm and new panhard rod drop bracket, possibly new driveshafts, carrier bearing drop, and new brake lines. It's not worth it if you ask me. Plus, you're illegal enough as it is already
when i bought my lift didn;t it come with all that stuff kris, it dhould still work with another 3" right? i understand the brake lines..but shouldn't all the other parts still work?
common man, higher is better. this boy at my school brangs about his truck..not as good as mine in my opinion just put a 6" lift on..that why im rushing this it was going to wait now it can't....you should see his truck..man is it not even worth talking about...1999 f250 regularcab long bed duals and BANKS...
