1999 injector problem?

1999 injector problem?
I have a 1999 F250 Super Duty with 7.3L. It has been smoking and hard to start. It threw a code that said cylinder 5 misfiring. I replaced the injector at about $350 and I still have the same problem. Code hasn't came back yet though. Where do I go from here?

I would check your gpr.. maybe your glow plugs are not working properly.. Also, did you check the 9 pin under valve cover connector to harness for loosness..? They famous for coming loose.. Both mine did at 70K..

If you hear that then it's time to confirm it by getting a compression test.
