Hey Guys,
My VSS went out on my 1999 V10. Just want to let you know what you will feel when it goes out. I felt the tranny jerking and not shifting right. The odometer didn't work and the ABS light stays on. Hope this help anybody who has this issue in the future.

Find a local dealer, buy new vehicles from them, get them serviced by them, and buy their Ford sponsored extended service plan.... when you NEED parts insist on their "price" for the part....POWER of the check book works!
I trade only at Cove Ford Copperas Cove Texas since 1994 and have bought 12 NEW vehicles from them.... I tend to get white glove treatment there....
ALSO I am NOT a butt head when something is wrong with a vehicle...just well informed (thank you FTE), and patient........ customer relations starts and stops with the customer's attitude!
