cylinder numbers

can someone tell me what the cylinder numbering system is for the 2.9v6??

I'm not sure 1-4-2-5-3-6 fiering order. #1 cyl is pass side, #4 - dr. side.....

yeah, i got the firing order, its how the block is numbered i'm not sure about. whether it's 1 2 3 down one side, or is it odd and even.

It's 1 2 3 passenger side

and 4 5 6 driver side

with 3 & 6 at the firewall

You can easily find cyl # on spark plug wire..... :-))
