Hard Starting

I have a question, I have a 2000 Excursion, V10 with about 65,000 miles. I love our truck, we towed our 31' 7000# TT cross country last winter and it was a joy to drive! We have had two recourring problems with it however, occasionally it is very hard to start when cold. Repeated tries (4-5) without pressing the accelerator yield nothing, finally a little blip of the throttle while it is turning over and she fires off fine. It doesn't happen often, maybe 1X/month. Anybody else seen this before? The other is a vibration, seemingly out of balance tires, but only between 68-72MPH. Balancing helps for a while but it always seems to come back? Any ideas?

Hard Starting

Can't help you on the viabration. The starting problem sounds alot like the IAC going bad/sticking. Search for IAC and you'll get plenty of responses.
