Greetings all! (again)

I have my truck now. It is a 1990 F-250 XLT Lariat 7.3l diesel and dual tanks with about 206k. The exterior of the bed has a dent or three and the tailgate/inside the bed are pretty badly beat up. I need a bed (white on red) which is set up for dual tanks.

In the insulation under the hood I found the production form:

B&A-8502-T May 1989

Which has the Ford codes for the various components such as:

Engine 9G002BA;
Transmission FOTP WA;
Rear Axel 129C; and
so forth.

Does anyone know where I can find out if those have equivalents that relate to parts or component manuals (for the rear axel/differential ratio as an example)?

I know the first thing I need to do is replace all fluids and filters, and drain the fuel/water separator.

Also, this may be a dumb question but: for the fuel tank selector switch - which way is for which tank? Up for front - down for rear or vice versa?

Thanks,

Don
