Front End Noise?!?

Front End Noise?!?
I have a 1997 Ranger 4x4, 120,000 mi, 3.0L. I recently went through a little mud and water, well maybe a lot, and about a week later it sounds like the front end is rubbing somewhere. I checked a lot of the connections but they all seem to be ok. I greased all the fittings and cleaned everything up. I think that the front wheels might need to be repacked and or cleaned. I have yet to do this on a vehicle. I also was not sure how to go about this. I need to take my truck to pick up a boat soon and want to make sure everything is good. Thanks-----------John

There may be something stuck near the brake rotor or caliper. Jack up one wheel at a time and give it a spin by hand, you will hear and feel if there is something wrong. You didn't mention when you hear the rubbing noise (while it is rolling or on a bump).

Sorry about that. It makes the noise whenever the truck is moving. Also, I have looked at both calipers and have not found anything, yet. It sounds like it is coming from both wheels. Its just hard to hear it from outside because i have no one that can drive a stick. Thanks John
