I had my local CO-OP fuel driver tell me that a dependable garage owner in my area has been putting a quart of diesel fuel in evry half tank of gas in his wreckers & is getting around 4 more miles to the gallon. I thought about trying it just to see if it actually worked. I have put about a gallon of gas per tank full in my PSD when it gets real cold just to keep from gelling. Any thoughts on this subject???

Hold on here a minute, you know a guy who is putting diesel in his gas. But you put gas in your diesel, right ? I've often heard of guys putting a little gas in the diesel, you have to be awful careful though, that 22.5 to 1 compression won't be too happy with too much gasoline in it's mix. But I have never heard of anyone doing the opposite though, why would you ? Ken 98 E-350 V-10 XLT ClubWagon.
