Hey, I've got an '88 f-250 460 4x4 c6 and would like to have overdrive. What are my options? Thanks Mike

The C6 is a good strong trans. The other Ford overdrives are not as strong and very expensive. If I were you, I would go with the GearVendor.

With an 88 pickup I don't know what you hope to achieve. Add a $2000-2500 overdrive unit and raise the value of the pickup $0. If you are lucky you might raise the fuel mileage by 1 mpg. If you are getting anywhere around 10mpg I would reccommend just driving it.
