They finally got the pics up at the car show I went to. The web site is www.cartercountycruisers.com When you got to that, click on Past Show Recaps. The first one is the Olive Hill Show. The blue and white 1955 Che@y is my uncle's car. My 51 is the pic below his. And a friend of ours his 34 ford is below mine. Also when your done looking at that show be sure to check out the Wheelersburg cars show pics also. That is one of the best show around here each month. There are alot of pics to look at on each show but I just thought I would share the web site with you guys so you could see some of the cars around where I live. Hope you guys enjoy the pics. I just wanted to brag alittle on my truck to. It's not done yet but the guy that painted my uncle's 55 che@y said when I get my truck ready he would paint mine also. I hope b/c he does a pretty good jod. Hope you guys enjoy, alot to look at.
I like your uncle's 55 a lot and your truck looks sweet. Every 34 looks good to me, but then I'm very partial to them. But, my favorite is the blue 53 Kaiser.
That Kaiser is the only one I have seen around here so far. It is all original as far as the running gear and the inside. What caught my eye on the car as far as the motor is the distributor goes all most right down the center of the head into the motor. It's a flathead 6 but it just looked funny to me but that's the way it come. My wife like's the heart shaped winshield. I'll try to get a pic of my dad's 55 ford fairlane. It is a 2 door hardtop car. The same guy painted it that painted my uncle's 55 chevy. We got dad's fairlane going today and we will be taking it to the next show. At the Wheelersburg show there is always 3 to 400 cars. The pics of that show we had some rain for a couple of days and not alot of guys came out for it. The next show is August 25, so buy that Monday or Tuesday some more pics will be up to look at again. I'll try to keep you guys informed of the new pics when they come up. If your like me you can look at pics of old cars and trucks for hours. The best part about the Wheelerburg show is at the end of each show if your car or truck will do it then the police don't mind if you don't get to crazy. They stand back and hold traffic back if it is to crowded there.
Cool Pics. I was looking thru some of the other car shows listed and saw a bunch from the columbus ggodguys. If you scroll about two thirds of way down you will see about 5 fords lined up. The red 48 in the middle is mine. Our truck club rode down for the weekend. If you notice the green 50 chevy. That's my brother-in-laws truck. We parked all the fords on one side and all the chevys on the other side. We had nine trucks rode down together. Had a great time.
