proporting valve

have installed power brake kit and am ready to run the brake lines. my question is about front brake lines. does it make any difference which line goes where in the front. i know the back hook up is right but unsure of front lines

All depends on whether you are running disk/disk or disk/drum or drum/drum and whether you have the MC below the floor. You should be running the appropriate proportioning valve and residual valves (if the MC is mounted under the floor). Most of the brakes vendors have good diagrams on their websites that you can refer to.

brake lines

On the ones I have done: If you are on the left side facing the proportioning valve, the bottom line goes to the left front brake and the top line goes to the right front. I don't know if it really makes a difference. The car or truck your valve was made for should describe installation directions. Bleed rr,lr,rf,lf sequence.I use DOT 5 brake fluid. Have a great day chuck
