Does anyone knows what's that tick-tick-tick sound I hear sometimes when
I hit the brakes, is coming from inside of the truck, my guess is somewhere behind the dash?
It sounds to me like a relay, I can only hear it if I push to fast on the brake
on a slow quick stop.

No pedal pulsation, I only noticed when going very slow about 5 mph, and I step hard on the brake pedal, then I can hear like a relay going tick-tick, and the rear wheels locking a little, not a complette locking, I did hear the tires sleap a little, is this normal?
I also forgot to mention that my shop installed new rottors and new pads, and after that I can smell the brakes like metal getting hot, I'm not sure if it's normal when discs are new or is something else wrong?
They installed new discs because I was complaining of shaking when braking, so first they cut the old ones and that didn't work, after that they replace
for new ones, and believe or not I can still feel the shaking bouncing when I brake a little hard coming to stop from 60 to 0?
I gave up, maybe that's the way these trucks are!
Don't know the year of your truck but the newer ones have 4 wheel ABS. The relay clicking you hear sounds typical of the ABS activating. You usually feel the brake pedal pulsing when it does activate. If you have 4 wheel ABS the front rotors have a slotted ring on the backside for the speed sensor. Did the ones installed have a slotted ring? Does the ABS light come on when you hear the clicking? The hot metal smeel could simply be the new rotors/pads or you could have a caliper hanging up due to frozen in place caliper glides.
