My 94 has great air. Freeze you out. A couple weeks ago I was pulling a stock trailer load of cows & every time I pull a hill or put more of a load on the engine, the a/c started blowing out the defroster. Is this a vacum problem, or something else? Has anybody else had this problem? Any input would be great. It has a460 engine with a 5 speed if it makes any difference. Thanx
Vacuum leak. Check the thin white vacuum line coming off the vacuum switch on top of the blower box (rear/passenger side of engine compartment). There was a thread about this just the other day:
Funny thing just happened. I turned to the on position & floor, the I tried flipping it on to vent & it stayed on floor. Then I started it & everything works. It only does it on a/c when the engine is working usually. I looke at what of the white hose was exposed & I didn't see any tears or rips in the line. I will test it tomorow.
