another duraspark?
ok to start off, i've got the system wired up with a push button starter and a on/off toggle switch. the toggle is wired to the red run wire on the box. but when its warm it starts hard. so i need to wire the white retard wire up some how, but will it hert the ignition box if i hook the white retard wire up to the starter button so it gets power when the starter is turning. the toggle would have to be on too, so the red and white wire would have power to them at the same time is that a problem?

i thought with the factory ignition switch that the red wire on the duraspark had NO power in the start position, than got its power back when in the on position. and the white wire got power only in the start position. so that they both wouldn't have power at the same time. but with my togle switch Both would have power when i am starting it.

I just looked at a diagram to make sure, but no, they have the white retard wire hooked directly to the red/lightblue that goes to the neutral safety switch and then the starter solenoid(relay).
They show a wide piece on the wiper in the ignition switch, which sends power to both the starter relay(red/lightblue, white module wire), and the white/lightblue(red module wire) for the ignition module at the same time.
