OBD II test ?

OBD II test ?
When I plug in my OBD II, I get a yellow light and a question mark and half of the icons flash. The manual says this means certain systems have not completed the test cycle or has pending codes.
does anyone know how to make it complete the test cycle. The manual also mention completeing a drive test cycle????? any ideas or comments.

I have a cheap Innova 3030. The icons that flash are E - EGR, C - catalyst monitor, EV - evaporation monitor, and OH - oxygen sensor heater monitor. It says these have not been through the check cycle. icons are on the tester

There are certain systems that take time to come up with a test value, certain amount of miles have to be driven first.
