No gas filters at all - I assume that you mean "diesel fuel" filters, since you're in the Diesel forum.
Making that assumption, there is only one stock diesel fuel filter - on top of engine, near front, slightly left of center, right behind the High Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP), and under the black plastic "Powerstroke" cover (if it's still there).
Ummmm, Pete is right and wrong. There is only one user servicable fuel filter and thats right where he explained it. There are also two cartridge filters(screens) in the mixing chamber inside the fuel tank. The reason I said user serviceable is cause FOMOCO wants you to go to dealership to have intank filters changed/cleaned. Then they realized what a PITA it is to service these screens and designed the 6.0 tanks without them. You can search for Hutch mod, or look to ITP and get the intank kit to do away with this.
Pete, hows everything at home, did yall have a good anniversary weekend?
Brandon is right, and right. I thought about the intank filters, but decided not to mention them just because they typically aren't the ones most folks ask about. Thanks, for catching my slack on that, Brandon.
