2002 PSD Tranie
Just blew out my transmission last wednesday on my 2002 PSD. Dealership gave me two options at about $3600 and $2600 for a used and re-maned. Ended up going with a transmission company to re-build mine and they quoted me at $1900 with an upgraded shift kit and a High torque conversion kit. Do these numbers sound right? and how much better off am I with this rebiulding of my old one?

Many refer to it as the best/strongest trans for the 7.3.
Brian and Patty are great to work with. Not sure if the price has changed...but it was $3800 when I got mine.
And be sure to replace your trans cooler regardless of which trans you go with.
