EGR vacuum removal....

Just switched the 2bbl over to a 8010 4bbl intake on the 77 351M. Can I just remove all of the vacuum lines and canister going to the egr and air cleaner? I already ran my distributor vacuum to the carb base, so that is good, and am wanting to clean it up, but don't want to screw anything up. Thanks

The engine will probably Ping from the EGR being removed.

The Vacuum cannister (reservoir) is for storage for the complete vacuum system.

Brake Booster & AC (if applicable) .
