Hi there, just joined today.
I know this is a Ford site, but I think you will let a Merc in from time to time!
Just acquired a 52 Mercury F3 with only 39K on it.
Truck was originally from Sask, and I believe it was a grain truck as it has an hydraulic hoist on the long box . Condition is good and solid no rust, but many dings and dents as one would expect of a 55 year old work truck.
Original 255 flathead V8 and 6 volt system, no turn indicators and the paint is poor (looks like it was applied with brush and roller), only had to replace a taillight bulb to pass a safety inspection.
Hope to start the restoration this fall. Joined this site to get more info on this particular truck.
