64 250 axles?
I believe the truck has a closed knuckle 60 in front and the rear axle has the number 80 cast into the diff housing, which leads me to believe its a dana 80, but I'm not sure if its stock, or what gears are in it and I could not find a tag on either one.
If anyone has any information available it would be very helpful.
Thanks

The Dana 80 axles were not available till the late 1980's. Look on the door VIN plate, located on the left door face near the latch for AXLE code. Post it here. The code will tell what axle it had as original and the ratio.
You failed to mention the size of the truck. F100's came with Ford 9 inch or Spicer 44 rear axles, Spicer 44 front axles on 4x4's. F250's came with Spicer 44's or Spicer 60's as front or rear axles. NO F350 4X4's were made till 1979.
Axle Tags = Spicer (Dana): Two possible locations: A metal tag bolts to one of the removable cover bolts. Or bolted (2 bolts) to the axle tube on the left side adjacent to the cover. The tags are 2" long X 1/2" wide and will have Spicer (Dana) 7 digit ID codes on them. Ford 9 inch: The tag is bolted to one of the rear axle carrier (pumpkin) bolts, usually on the drivers side lower.
Caveat Emptor: 1964 pickups have leaf springs front and rear. They drive and ride like oxcarts, especially the F250's. Something to consider before parting with the long green.
