Friggin vandals!

Well I woke up this morning and found that someone had busted my drivers rear door glass out and busted up the drivers side tailight...... Needless to say if I find the idjit that screwed with my car he'll be singing soprano for the rest of his life.

The cops basically listed it as a vandalization and aren't gonna do anything, I cleaned it out tonight and it was definitely a baseball bat or other blunt object. A rock wouldn't throw glass all over the roof, and bits of the taillight on the trunk.

That's a shame. Did they just do your vehicle or many in your neighborhood?

Well seeing as we live out in the middle of nowhere, and the house is set back about 100 feet from the road. It was just my car, I park it out by the road and walk up to the house. Been doin' it that way for over a year now. First time anyone's dared to mess with it. My other car ('91 Taurus) is gettin an alarm installed. Then I'll KNOW if someone is messin' with it. This one is a '91 Merc Grand monkey. I'm gonna fix all it's little problems once I get the taurus settled.

I thought maybe it was one of the drunk neighbors shooting at raccoons, but upon closer inspection whatever went IN also came back OUT.

I'd recommend Claymore mines. Very effective but make identification of the vandals difficult afterwards. Just make sure you point them (mines) in the right direction. I can't use them here because the neighbors are too close. Someone tagged my car a while ago. Seemed random as it was just a spray paint stripe down the side. Cops took a few notes and said they would do a few patrols but doubtful they ever caught the little turds who did it. Nothing since either but still gets my goat when people do that stuff.

One of those rare occasions when I agree with Carl ..... it stinks. To damage someone's property just to be doing it is really low.

Sad thing is I'm pretty sure I KNOW who did it, just can't prove it.

I could go slash the tires on his race truck. ALL 4 of them, at 106usd each that'd learn him.
