Aero Turbine Installed
I installed the aero turbine muffler yesterday (cat left on). Just thought I let you all know what I think since there are not many who have this muffler. I got the 3535 muffler which is 3.5 inlet/outlet. At idle, you can't even tell it's there, but when you get on it, it throws out a tone that's easy on the ears. Not too loud, but just enough rumble. Zero drone at all RPM's, a big bonus. I can tell the engine breathes much easier by better throttle response. As far as MPG, I don't believe the claim of increasing by 4 mpg, which it stated on the box. Also I am a little disappointed because I was hoping for more turbo whistle. I think a person could hear a difference at idle if the engine wasn't sooo loud (not complaining). I got the muffler for 186 dollars shipped. Overall, I give it an 8. If you want a loud exhaust, then this isn't for you. BUt if you want something with a low toned sound, then this will work. I know, I know, I should of straight piped! WE live and learn.

I have less then that into my 06' F-350 6.0 before the rear wheel, 3.5" side exit , Cat on, stainless tip,,when Ideling cold,,,got a sweet turbo whine, on all take off's,, nice turbo spool shriek,,,and after 2200 rpm,,,she Barks,,tried it straight piped first,,,was alittle to much for me,, (loud) with the side exit,,the Cat on toned it down just enough.
