Black Ford emblem
Hey guys, I recently lost my custom black ford emblem in a car wash. I had found the emblem online through some guy who personally hand made them, but now his site is no longer valid. I was going to try and get a refund because it wasnt the whole emblem assembly that fell out, it was the plate on the eblem that fell out, his adhesive didnt last the duration of enviormental conditions. anyway, do you guys know of where i could find another black emblem for a 1995 F350? Other than Ebay or if u can find one thru them?

Go to the nearest wreckers, and get the emblems off a wrecked truck and try it on them... if it doesn't work for you - you haven't lost anything... can't imagine they'd charge much just for the emblems..
If you're happy with the results... then all you have to do is take the originals off your truck and replace them with the ones you doctored from the wreckers..

If the yards charge anything for the emblems, it's only a buck or two. By the way I tried it myself, and only half-hearted to see how it would turn out, it wasn't that hard. The emblem I did was already screwed up anyway, but it still taught me the process.

Keep in mind that if you look in the local yard for emblems, The practice one doesn't have to even be the correct size. A truck that is as nice as yours, I'd want two or three practice runs, then look for the exact one you need. (Might not be a bad idea to get a few of those as well at a buck or two apiece!)
