AIH delete?

Can anyone explain to me what the AIH delete is, what the pros and cons are, and instructions on how to do it if I decide to? I keep seeing it pop up here and there in different threads but haven't had any luck using the search feature on the forum. Thanks for any help.

You can also take it out and zip off the element with a cut off wheel. Worked for me....
