Hi guys. I just bought an RV that is based upon a 2007 Ford 350 chassis. Well, in my opinion, the brake pedal is way too small. When I rest the heel of my foot on the floor and rotate between the gas and the brake, only the very tip of my foot reaches the bottom of the pedal. I've never had a car setup like this, and it seems potentially dangerous to me in this configuration (perhaps it's my foot-driving style).
I would like to get a pedal pad that is larger to bolt onto the pedal (metal backing, with rubber on the front just like the stock one). 20 minutes of searching on Google revealed nothing useful. Anyone have any suggestions and/or a favorite Ford truck accessory site (one that is really Ford-centric, not some lame generic site that only sells car covers).
well ive tried searching and came up with nothing. ithink you will have to fabricate one up. i would use a piece of plate steel and attach it to your pedal with plumbing strap. as for the rubber top, well not sure what to use but theres lots of rubber options out there to use.
I have a similar issue with the brake pedal, but a little different. It seems to me that the pedals are moved slightly to the left, and when I rotate my toe from the gas, to the brake, and depress the brake, I sometimes end up revving the engine while I am trying to stop because my foot depresses the brake, and the toe reaches over and hits the gas!. Fun when you are trying to "whoa", look like a brand new driver! I have driven Fords for 44 years, and this is the first one that I have had an issue like this with. Guess I will have to change my habits, or find a way to move the brake pedal up higher! This truck just turned 4,000 miles today!

Thanks for the feedback guys, I haven't really found anything either. Drove the truck again today, my foot slipped off several times. Is there a way to move the pedal down (doubt it).
