Get the AIR OUT ???
2000 PSD 7.3 4x4 Crew. - 171K miles, LUK clutch upgrade.. Otherwise, bone stock.
I did the HUTCH modification in the tank after I realized all that mixing chamber and filters were a bad design. It was a little tougher than I expected but I finally got it done last night.. I ran all new fuel line and installed a new rail pump about a week ago. I also cleaned out my Exhaust Backpressure TUBE and I believe that made a huge difference in performance. I couldnt even get weed-eater line through it before I started.
Ok, so today, I go to lunch and when I leave.. it died. I had alittle over a quarter of a tank and sucked air somehow. I had HELL getting it over 40mph until the air escaped the bowl. I went and topped the tank off and it seems to be doing better now..
Any suggestions on how to get ALL the air out without opening that filter housing AGAIN ???
It ran liked a SCALDED *** dog last night, I cant imagine what happened today.
